The Labyrinth of the Spirit was influenced by the research of Robert Sternberg, readings from and about Edgar Cayce, the teachings of  Marshall Rosenberg, the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg, and A Course in Miracles®*. The recent spiritual teachings of Eckhart Tolle have also had great effect.
Long ago, in the Orange, California Public Library researching the topic that became the Labyrinth of the Spirit , a book fell off a shelf onto the floor. It was by Robert Sternberg of Yale, called "The Triarchic Mind: A New Theory of Human Intelligence."  Sternberg's book was apt. His research into how people behaved, characteristic error behavior, and how thought is related to behavior reinforced the process of the Labyrinth. Since then, the ideas Sternberg presented evolved, along with other references.
