The Will
Will. The Will is the driving power in every living creature. Its power is called Willpower.
Automatic behavior (called instinctive behavior) is fast and efficient. But awareness may show that fast and efficient produce an undesirable result!
Willpower now either pretends the result is OK, or awareness suggests a new way. The new way must be learned, so Will's power (Willpower) uses the Mind to learn.
The learning process is slow because of the decisions Mind must make. Once learned, behavior becomes automatic, fast, and efficient.
Still, the Will--through Willpower-- decides behavior: keep a habit or change.
